Double-O-Fifty Birthday Mission

August 4, 2013

Went on a mission upstate to retrieve a special fancy birthday cake for my Dad's 50th Birthday at Paris Baguette and while we were at it we thought we should stop by the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Edgewater for some fine and delicious Japanese Marion Crepes! Little did we know the Marion Crepe stand was temporarily closed that day, and there went our sad cravings. Nonetheless, we still made the best of the trip and had lunch there; maybe it's my bias for Japanese food but their foods are always so delectable! haha After lunch we headed over to the Garden State Plaza Mall for some little fun and exercise after filing our stomachs way beyond its limits.
So relieved the cake made it alive through the whole trip! Are you guys hungry for a slice? It not then let me tell ya, it was the softest and richest cake I've ever had! It was so fluffy that placing the candles onto the cake proved to be a little more challenging than I had initially thought cause it literally felt like clouds and marshmallows!
