Are You Ready When The World Comes Tumbling?

February 28, 2013

If I had to get a grade for how active I've been this month with my blog I'd unfortunately probably fail which I really wish I didn't. And to make things worse, I feel as though majority of my posts are related to food in one way or another. But like an amateur student who isn't satisfied with her current grade I have an excuse. The weather here in New Jersey has been mega-gloomy and droopy, rainy, and on top of all that crazy freezing cold! And what happens when the weather gets cold, I end up spending my rare spare time cooking to keep myself warm as well as treat myself (and you virtually) to some nice and warm treats.

Took A Little Time To Make It A Little Better

February 16, 2013

So apparently I goofed you all including myself in thinking I would actually go a near all nighter. But hey at least I'm a morning bird person so it sort of makes up for it...then again maybe not. Moreover, in continuation in my attempt to update this blog with the things that have been going on the last couple of days and whatnot, I'm proud to say there's a new recipe to add on to my 50+ recipe goal! Can you guys guess what it is? *wink* *wink* what celebratory holiday happened over the week? It's some man-catching-beignets for good o' Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday)! And if you've watched Princess and the Frog (a very lovely Disney film) then you'll know what I mean with that phrase. And amazingly I don't disagree with the film either. My dad and my two little brothers were in absolute love with them and kept coming back for more.

Don't Be a Slave in Your Own Sanctuary

Happy Chinese New Year's guys! Aaahh it feels like forever since I've last posted, probably because the last time was way at the beginning of the month, can't wait to get spring semester done and over with so you guys won't have to bore yourselves to death reading the nonsensical things I'm shoving in your minds because that's essentially how dull my life has been due to work. Classes have definitely proven to be a challenge this semester, it's tough trying to squeeze everything in 24 hours nowadays. Nonetheless have you guys been keeping yourselves updated with the A/W 13-14 Collections happening? Goodness I would love to actually be there in New York for Fashion Week, sitting in the front rows in lieu of sitting my pathetic buttocks at home staring at the computer for days on ends.
As for my eating journal posts, I'll probably merge the last couple of weeks into one mega post! Hopefully I can find the time to do it today, if I don't get distracted from my work and actually get everything I need done, DONE!
