Kissemoji Ceramic Digital Flat Iron

Finding and investing in the right hair products is always a trial-and-error for me. Lucky you if your hair is always cooperative and easy to manage because the type of product you trust your hair with can be a huge game changer. In terms of hair products, I don't necessarily go all out with the fancy products like investing in hair gels, moisturizer, and whatnot (though sometimes I do wonder if I should). Usually I just use whatever is conveniently in the bathroom which is only really hair oil to repair damaged hair with all the hair dye chemicals and heat I have put into my hair in past years.

Likewise, I'm pretty picky when it comes to the flat iron I use because the texture of my hair can be somewhat difficult to work with since it's not exactly the most luscious hair for flat irons to glide through.

Two things that I do keep in mind when looking for the right hair flat iron are: (1) it is a digital flat iron and (2) it is a ceramic flat iron. A digital flat iron makes it easier for me to control the heat temperature that is being used on my hair which is important because too much heat can potentially burn it off yo. A ceramic flat iron usually gives my hair a smoother feel because it glides along my hair more easily than other materials.

Now that the background informative stuff is done and over with, onto the review. I recently got my hand on this (http://amzn.to/1WbUSb8) hair straightener from Kissemoji and here is a breakdown from my personal experience with it.

This isn't a bad flat iron but it did take me longer to straighten all my hair than the one I currently own. At first I thought it was because the temperature only reached up to 220 degrees until I realized that it was 220 degrees Celsius not Fahrenheit.

Also, the outer part feels like rubber which might make it a little tough for you to use this flat iron to wave or curl your hair. But overall, I do like the outer rubber feel of it and how light weight it is.

Personally I would recommend this flat iron if you have thin hair or little hair because I have both thick and a lot of hair. So unless I'm not rushing to get ready, I would opt out of this one and grab my current flat iron. Otherwise, on a daily basis if you aren't in any major rush then this flat iron wouldn't be so bad. Plus the cord can turn 360 making it less of a hassle for when you're curling your hair.

REVIEW // Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunblock Lotion

This facial sunblock has definitely been my go-to sunblock all year round! Ever since I started using it, I've gradually started to notice that my face would not turn be so quick to turn red as it used to. Even after hours of being under the sweltering sun and sweating like a mad pig, my face would only go so far as to show a slight tint of pink tones on the cheeks and at times it would even remain neutral looking which is the best part!

However, the type of skin you may have is definitely something to always consider when searching for the ideal facial sunblock. Reason being, my sister actually owned this sunsblock lotion prior to giving it to me to use because she felt it didn't quite meet her expectations, to which I then grew to be obsessed with. If your skin tends to secrete an excess amount of oil then I would probably not recommend this product for you because my sister felt that it only made her skin more oily. On the other hand, if you have dry skin like I do, then I would highly recommend this product because it acts as both an excellent source of moisture and protection for your skin.

Both me and my sister must agree though, that the application feels slightly heavier than some sunblocks (depends on whichever you normally use) but that's why they instruct that you apply it 30 minutes before being exposed to the sun. Afterwards, you wouldn't even feel like you're wearing anything on your face which is the beautiful part because you can still apply your usual BB Cream, etc. to your face without having to worry about your face feeling too thick. Moreover, you will definitely notice your skin appearing slightly paler upon immediate application but after the 30 minute duration it should settle properly into your skin and look natural. So even if you applied this during the winter season, you won't look like a complete vampire.

REVIEW // UniWigs' Synthetic Extensions (E72404)

Okay so I'm going to be honest with you guys, ever since I chopped off my hair over the autumn season, I've regretted it loads of time! Don't get me wrong though, while I did like my dark hair, deep down somewhere inside me, I missed my long ombre hair with it's luscious blond locks (ha), especially since I'm such a huge fan of braids! The number of different braided hairstyles that my sister would experiment on my long hair could seriously go on for days! Why, I could probably have had a different hairstyle for every single day, 365 days, 365 different hairstyles? What do you guys say? Think it's do-able for someone with long hair?

Likewise, I've been itching to invest in some wigs or extensions to satisfy my inner need for long hair again and that's when I landed upon these perfect ombre synthetic clip-on extensions (here) for my hair! And one the best parts about them is they come in 7 different pieces to make them more realistic unlike the usual single wide clip-on extensions AND you don't have to freak out about killing your hair with multiple bleaching processes to achieve blonde ends if you ever wanted to experiment with ombre hair! 

REVIEW // Sheinside Asymmetrical Shorts

In all honesty this was surprisingly my first time ordering from Sheinside and I'll admit it that it all started because of my love for these asymmetrical shorts/skort that's been surfacing everywhere! The best part about them is you could pair them with almost any outfit and ba-bam! you're outfit will instantly become fab haha! Okay so done with the spazzing about this item, time to get serious and now to the review. Dun Dun Dunnn...

PACKAGING ❤❤❤❤❤

I absolutely loved the way they packaged the item! It was sealed in a nice bag with a re-sealable zipper thingy ma-jiggy at the top. The front was a fabric layer and it displayed the Sheinside logo on it and the back was transparent plastic (this bag was inside your usual grey packaging bag). Needless to say I was impressed by their packaging and that's what counts! 

SHIPPING ❤❤♡♡♡

I did the standard shipping to the United States so the cost was free. However, they estimated shipping to be approximately 5-10 working business days and unfortunately it took longer than that to receive my order. They provided two different types of tracking number...the first one was a short 6-character length one and I was not able to track my item with that. Instead I just logged on to my Sheinside account and tracked the progress through the 'my orders' section; the second tracking number they provided I was able to track my order with ease. There was a weird moment in the shipping of my order that I noticed while I would track my item although I would blame it more on the shipping company/service I suppose. At some point my order was tracked to be just 2-hours from where I live and I was so stoked that I would receive my order the next day. Next morning I tracked my item and it was sent to another state and because of that it ended up taking a lot longer than it should have to arrive.

PRICE ❤❤❤❤♡

Technically if you compare the price of this which I got for approximately $18-$19 (I used a 20% off discount code on the original $23.23) to the price of Zara's and many other providers than it really wasn't so shabby. In this situation it sort of depends on what kind of budget you have. The price wasn't so shabby with the discount code!

QUALITY ❤❤❤❤♡

My only major complaint is that the zipper is crazy stubborn! It's almost like it didn't want me to wear the it but to instead just admire them ha. Likewise, I feel like there should have been a little "hook" thing above the zipper (that you usually see on a lot of dresses and what not) to secure it a little more in case you were to bend down and the zipper unzips itself. Although I guess in my case since my zipper is sort of stubborn that probably won't happen. Nonetheless, I'm probably going to sew the "hook" piece onto the short/skort. Other than that, that overall quality was relatively nice!
